JOLY ADVOGADOS is a Law Office specialized in Financial and Capital Markets, focused on Investment Funds and Investment Clubs and The Self Regulation of Brazilian Association of Financial Markets and Capital ("ANBIMA") and Securities, Commodities and Futures Exchange ("BMF&Bovespa").

All activities are developed by a team of specialized professionals, under the leadership of Dr. Marcelo Joly, with an experience of over 15 (fifteen) years in the financial and capital markets and in the industry of investment funds and investment clubs.

Joly has served as a lawyer in the legal departments of renowned financial institutions such as Icatu Bank and Pactual Bank and, more recently, as legal manager of The Bank of New York Mellon in Brazil, a position he held for 7 (seven) years, and participated actively in structuring of various funds, clubs and investment portfolios, including privatization clubs, portfolios of non-resident investors and operations to pension funds, insurance companies and pension schemes in the Union, States and Municipalities.

JOLY ADVOGADOS was founded in April 2008, initially with the purpose of providing legal advice to the independent administrators and asset managers in their day by day business. By presenting a significant difference in the market - operating in a boutique style and offers tailor made solutions - has been expanding its field of activity related to other areas, such as distribution and intermediation of securities, wealth management, structured funds, credit operations and also corporate disputes involving the control of private companies in the process prior to the Initial Public Offering ("IPO").
